Information that is not uploaded
The converter does not send your source photo, filename, generated grid, color map, thumbnail, saved project, or stitch-by-stitch progress to the Needlepoint Maker backend. Those items are processed and stored by the browser on the device you are using.
Anonymous product analytics
When analytics are enabled, the site creates a random visitor identifier and a 30-minute session identifier. It records tightly defined product events such as viewing a page, selecting an image type, completing a conversion, exporting a file, opening a saved project, or marking a progress milestone.
A page-view event may include the landing-page path, broad device class, referring domain, and approved campaign values such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. Conversion events may include canvas mesh, stitch dimensions, color count, unit mode, and a broad processing-time range. The event schema rejects unexpected properties before storage.
Feedback and contact permission
Written feedback is sent only when you submit it. An email address is optional and is used for follow-up only when you separately select the follow-up permission. Do not include private information about the source photo in a feedback message.
Storage and retention
Anonymous product events, intent responses, and submitted feedback are stored in the Needlepoint Maker database. Automated cleanup removes product data after the configured retention period, currently up to 365 days. Browser projects remain on your own device until you delete them or clear that browser's local storage.
Your choice
You can turn anonymous analytics off from the converter's Privacy & analytics dialog. Turning it off removes the random visitor identifier from that browser and clears the current analytics queue. The core converter continues to work.
